This service is looking for an experienced 2IC to help them lead the service in providing quality care and create an environment for children that is an extension of their home. Drawing upon the Reggio Emilia approach, children will spend time outdoors and learn through unstructured play in the environment.
If this style of teaching is up your alley, you will just need to meet the following criteria:
Hold a Diploma in Early Years Education (at a minimum)
- Experience in a 2IC roleA Current Working with Children CheckA Current National Police Clearance Certificate (highly desirable)Current Medical ClearanceAs per each state specific Health Department Mandate, a COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate or proof of required vaccination is required.Current approved First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis trainingKnowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality framework (NQF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)Effective communication skills - with families, staff and children

You will be required to regularly provide the necessary:
- Working with Children CheckPolice Clearances
- Reference Checks from a previous Manager.
