About the Role

The HSE Advisor will be responsible for successfully achieving HSE standards and targets, in accordance with ADCO's HSE Management System. This role will involve providing input into HSE plans, undertaking HSE inspections and assessments, and coordinating with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure all project undertakings are in line with the project HSE plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project, business, and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections and assessments to identify potential risks and hazards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure all project undertakings are in line with the project HSE plans.
  • Review subcontractor documentation for compliance with the project plans and ensure defect-free handover.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals.

About You

  • Hold a minimum of Diploma of Health & Safety Management.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering successful construction projects in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislative and best practice HSE policies, good knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards, contract terms and conditions, and industrial relations.
