
Care Coordinator

The Community Manager will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care services to clients within one of our communities. This is a full-time position that fosters a positive and inclusive culture, embodying our values and developing outstanding relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively champion the 'Orion Care Way,' ensuring that the actions of you and your teams consistently exemplify our values and behaviours
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our clients at all times – right service plan, right staffing, right care first time every time
- Deliver supportive home environments that result in exceptional client service and high levels of client/stakeholder satisfaction
- Provide efficient and effective operational services, utilising a standardised best practice approach, that delivers targeted care outcomes and optimises resource utilisation
- Drive the continuous development of staff and team capabilities, reinforcing Orion Care's position as an employer of choice
- Ensure all regulatory and statutory obligations relating to Orion Care's operations at every home are fully met
- Encourage choice, control, and autonomy whilst ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of all clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in disability services, NDIS program management, or community services.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS framework, policies, and regulations
- Strong knowledge of community resources and disability support networks
- Compliance with NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Disability Studies, Community Services, or a related field (preferred)
- Highly proficient team leader, stakeholder engagement, and service coordination
