The role of a Client Support Specialist is to act as an intermediary between operators, the purchasing department and the E-Business team. This specialist will be responsible for providing support to internal and external customers in relation to Supply Chain matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an intermediary between operators, the purchasing department and the E-Business team.
  • Support the sales process through sourcing and providing quotes in a timely manner.
  • Provide logistics support and assist in resolving supply issues.
  • Ensure cost of goods, logistics, quality and overall service of suppliers are adhered to.
  • Influence and mentor Unit Managers so they can understand the strategic direction of Supply Chain and a bigger picture understanding of the purchasing process.
  • Ensure suppliers have appropriate third-party accreditation and insurances and are set up in line with company policy.
  • Conduct desktop audits on key suppliers periodically.
  • Complete monthly reports including invoice price checks, site compliance and training on systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Foodservice experience with a demonstrated background in operations.

- Intermediate computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal.

- Good interpersonal skills - ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with business stakeholders.

- Ability to analyse situations and problem solve as required.

- Experience in a previous customer service role.

- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain (desirable).
