Flight Operations Manager: Safety and Efficiency Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Manager to join our Flight Operations team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flight services.

As Deputy Manager Flight Operations, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Manager in driving departmental efficiencies, including structure, cost management, headcount, rosters and work practices. You will also be responsible for managing departmental manpower planning and implementation to deliver customer contract requirements.

You will hold an influential role in the development of CHC flight standards and policy development. A close customer focus on all flight operations and training matters is essential, as well as support for CHC Sales and Commercial teams with tender preparation.

The ideal candidate will have minimum Australian ATPL (H) and experience as an offshore and/or SAR pilot. Post graduate qualifications in Management or similar is advantageous. Rated on multiple types presently operating by CHC Australia is preferred.

A strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and drive team performance is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, excellent Customer engagement skills and knowledge and/or experience in safety, quality assurance and risk management systems.
