CHC Helicopter is looking to appoint a
** Flight Safety Manager** to be located at our Perth Head Office. This role is vital to the success of our Flight Safety and Accident Prevention Program and a key position within our Safety & Quality team.

Key Responsibilities:
**The position**:
As a champion of Flight Safety, the Flight Safety Manager will manage and coordinate functional tasks that allow us to effectively deliver on our Flight Safety and Accident Prevention Program objectives.

You will collect, collate, analyse, monitor Flight Safety information, and ensure the appropriate action. You will coordinate base level Flight Safety Officers as the business unit representative. You will also lead and provide support to the investigation teams on relevant matters relating to Flight Safety.

You will be the key contact for Flight Data Management (FDM) and will be a liaison for the Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA) program. You will complete audits in support of our Quality programs and provide effective oversight to regulatory and operational requirement areas. You will engage with our customers and third parties, contribute toward maintaining company standards and compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
**Skills & Experience**:

- Current or recent commercial/air transport flight crew licence holder (Helicopter or Aeroplane)
- Lead Auditor (preferred) and Incident Investigator (highly regarded) qualification and experience
- Working knowledge of quality tools
- Knowledge of CASA, EASA and FAA regulations applicable to Helicopter and/or Aeroplane AOC operations
- A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in an aviation related environment
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on safety assurance and promotion
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage, and develop a team of aviation professionals
