About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential and NDIS Care Worker to join our team at Allambi Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to clients in various settings, including residential homes, community centers, and emergency accommodation.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Administer medication, transport clients, and assist with daily living activities.
  • Participate in the implementation of programs designed to promote the development and well-being of clients.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes the dignity and autonomy of clients.
Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment)
  • Current NDIS Worker Check (can be obtained via )
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID003)
  • National Police Check (this must be obtained via )
  • International Police Check for applicants who have lived continuously for 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years.
  • A current driver's licence
  • Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be accessed via: )
  • Ability to work a 7-day shift work roster
  • Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks
  • Two professional references
  • Willingness to participate in a Disqualified Carer's Check
