Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Solicitor to join our Legal Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-level legal advice and guidance on property and commercial law matters.

Your primary focus will be on interpreting legislation and policy affecting local government, advocating on behalf of our organization in legal proceedings, and developing effective strategies and solutions to support the delivery of exceptional services to our community.

As a senior solicitor, you will have extensive experience in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other documents related to property and commercial matters.

Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW
  • Hold a current NSW solicitors practicing certificate
  • Extensive experience in property and commercial law
  • Strong understanding of local government legislation and policy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
