About the Role

IPAR is a leading national occupational rehabilitation provider, dedicated to supporting individuals with illnesses, disabilities, or injuries. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their goals and live life to its fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload, working closely with a strong team of healthcare professionals and Rehabilitation Assistants to ensure seamless support.
  • Apply your clinical expertise to improve return to work outcomes, collaborating with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct a variety of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, to identify and address workplace hazards and develop effective solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Osteopathy, with full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits, with a desire to problem-solve and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
  • A current driver's license and access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel across the North East region as required.
