At Rex Airlines, we are seeking a Flight Attendant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the safety of our passengers.
As a Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. You will also provide a caring and personalised service while travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or have worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years. They will also hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate completed within the last 3 years.

  • Manage the entire cabin independently ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
  • Provide a caring and personalised service while travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.
  • Manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
Requirements
  • Be 18 years of age or over.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Be no taller than 173 cm.
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate completed within the last 3 years.
  • Demonstrate one of the following:
    • Completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
    • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
  • Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check.
  • Be passionate about your role and a commitment to delivering exceptional and consistent customer service.
  • Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device.
  • Be flexible and adaptable working hours will vary including holiday times and peak periods.
  • Have a high level of personal presentation.
  • Have a natural willingness to please and care for people.
