We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Food Service Operations Coordinator to join our team.

This role involves preparing and serving meals for residents, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and upholding food safety standards, supporting daily operations including site inspections, resident wellbeing, and emergency response, leading and coaching team members, promoting the community through events and resident engagement, and ensuring WHS compliance across kitchen and site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring quality, safety, and dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and uphold food safety standards.
  • Support daily operations including site inspections, resident wellbeing, and emergency response.
  • Lead and coach team members.
  • Promote the community through events and resident engagement.
  • Ensure WHS compliance across kitchen and site operations.
Requirements
  • Commercial cooking or chef experience, ideally in aged care, hospitality, or community settings.
  • Hold certifications like Food Safety Supervisor and First Aid, as well as a current driver's licence.
  • Confident managing food service operations and interacting with residents.
  • Physically capable of manual tasks including lifting, cleaning, and kitchen prep.
  • Empathetic, professional, and thrive in a community-focused environment.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams, give constructive feedback, and communicate effectively.
