About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping All Rounder to join our dynamic Housekeeping team at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including changing bed linen, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking amenities.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, lifts, and service spaces, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve brand standards and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Transferring dirty linen, removing rubbish and recycling, and safely handling and using chemicals.
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and be flexible with your availability.
  • Understanding of correct chemical usage and manual handling techniques to ensure safe work practices.
  • Valid Australian work rights, as we are not offering sponsorship.
