About the Role- SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE IN CARE: Daily routines, care and activities that promote their safety, trust and future aspirations.
- BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS: Establishing trust and respect through empathetic interactions.
- CREATING THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENTS: Developing safe and structured settings to foster growth and development.
- MANAGING BEHAVIOURAL NEEDS: Responding effectively to challenging situations.
- COLLABORATING ON CARE PLANS: Working closely with individuals to develop tailored plans.
- A relevant Certificate IV or equivalent qualification.
- A Full Australian Driver's License, First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check.
- Empathy, resilience and a solutions-focused approach.
- Flexibility across various shifts, including weekends and overnights.
- Competitive hourly rate under SCHADS Award 3.1.
