About the Role:

As a part-time Youth Worker, you'll provide trauma-informed care and support to children and young people in our Out of Home Care program. Your role is to help them heal, grow, and build a brighter future—and no two days are ever the same

No Experience? No Worries

We welcome people from all backgrounds—whether you've worked in hospitality, retail, admin, trades, healthcare, education, or something else entirely If you have the right attitude, a passion for supporting young people, and a willingness to learn, we'll help you:

Explore government-funded Certificate IV options—so you can study at little to no cost
Gain paid, hands-on experience while you learn.
Receive mentoring and career support to set you up for success.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people.
  • Help with personal care, education, social activities, and independent living skills.
  • Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
  • Offer trauma-informed and positive behavior support when challenges arise.
  • Encourage connections with family, culture, and community.
  • Work closely with a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for young people.

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
  • Availability for rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, weekends & overnights).
  • Adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  • No prior experience required—just a commitment to learning

What You Need to Get Started:

  • A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • An NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • A National Police Check (we'll complete this for successful applicants).
  • A valid open driver's license.
  • A Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child & Family, or Community Services (or willingness to enroll—we can connect you with government-funded training options).
