We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team at Occumax. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping children achieve their goals and providing support to their families.
As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with children from ages 0-18, their families, and other professionals involved in their care. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us provide high-quality services and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families
- Conduct regular clinical supervision and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of services and outcomes for clients

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from a recognized institution
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and certification as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and excellence
- Current knowledge of best practices and research in speech pathology, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with ongoing developments
