Payroll Operations Team Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated team leader to coordinate the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services. The role involves providing technical and team leadership across all areas of payroll service delivery, including stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and involvement in payroll-related investigations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Oversee payroll operations including master data maintenance, payroll production, statutory reporting, and payment processing.
  • Monitor and implement changes to awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Systems and HRIS teams to support system operation and resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive payroll supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical payroll knowledge.
  • Understanding of legislative and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage change, balance competing priorities, and perform under pressure.
