The Financial Accounting Role is a key position within an organisation, responsible for providing a range of financial accounting services. This role supports the integrity of financial information reported at month-end and year-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate payroll and revenue data is recorded.
- Capture all relevant accruals and prepayments.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Meet deadlines for assigned financial tasks and submissions.
About You:
- A Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting/Commerce.
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) and/or Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA).
- Demonstrated technical financial accounting experience with month-end processing, reconciliations and reporting.
- Proven ability to analyse data, prepare recommendations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proven capability to build rapport and professional relationships with stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
