We are seeking a Bid Strategist to contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions for our clients.

Job Description

  • Develop high-quality proposals and tender responses that meet client requirements.
  • Lead workshops to develop bid strategies, win themes, and value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Create bid management plans and communicate bid strategy, team roles, and responsibilities through kick-off meetings and other communication activities.
  • Understand client drivers and articulate solutions in clear, concise, relevant, and compelling responses.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for business growth for each bid and work with staff to ensure proposals and responses are competitive, achievable, profitable, and aligned with client needs.
  • Take accountability for writing and producing persuasive executive summaries and response documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in bid/tender management, including key tasks, milestones, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, prioritising tasks and coordinating others to ensure deadlines and business objectives are met.
  • Capacity to establish and develop effective relationships with internal and external customers through determination of needs, management of processes, and delivery standards.
  • Superior communication, consultative, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
  • High-level analytical skills, including ability to analyse both external customer requirements and internal business requirements.

About You

  • A strong academic record, preferably in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in bid/tender management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think creatively and strategically.
