Job Purpose

The Human Resources Specialist - Resourcing Specialist is responsible for providing a professional, quality Human Resource service by performing a range of duties within the provision of end-to-end recruitment.

This includes drafting job advertisements, advertising, applicant management and process control, screening, short-listing and assessing candidates in conjunction with the hiring managers, using the recruitment management system and in compliance with all legislative requirements.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Provide Recruitment support to the Functional, Project and Divisional Managers as required
  • Work on ad-hoc Recruitment projects as required
  • Give verbal offers of employment to candidates
  • Participate in scheduled Recruitment meetings
  • Adopt practices which minimise expenditure for without compromising results
  • Systems - Maintain Recruitment System
  • Ensure all costs incurred as part of the recruitment process are tracked and allocated
  • Ensure any department expenditure is in line with the recruitment budget
  • Reporting - Provide a level of reporting as required
  • Provide strategic recruitment advice to clients who maximises the number and quality of candidates for each vacancy
  • Ensure all administration tasks associated with assignments are completed in line with the specified processes
  • Ensure all aspects of the recruitment process comply with relevant employment legislation
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies
  • Ensure all aspects of the recruitment process within Recruitment Consultant's control are carried out timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Ensure you have a solid understanding of your project's business and recruitment needs
  • Ensure to keep abreast of any opportunities/threats to the candidate market through media sources and informal networks
