Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to provide exceptional patient care and support in our healthcare facility.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth experience through face-to-face support, appointment booking, and records management. You will also work closely with referring medical practitioners to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Duties Include:

  • Providing customer service and care, including greeting patients and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Making radiology exam bookings and scheduling appointments
  • General clerical duties, patient record management, and data entry skills
  • Liaising with other receptionists, referring doctors, and medical professionals in a courteous manner
  • Medicare, DVA, Health fund, and Workcover billing and banking

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous radiology medical reception experience and is familiar with electronic health records systems
  • Is flexible with shift times between 7:45am - 6pm and can adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented setting and is able to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients
  • Previous experience working well under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
