About the Opportunity

WeWork is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Community team as a Community Lead in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional member experience at our WeWork location.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Community Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Membership Engagement & Retention:
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention, including regular check-ins and personalized experiences.
    • Anticipate and address member needs, using data and insights to inform your approach.
    • Resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
    • Monitor and analyze member feedback to identify areas for improvement.
    • Support front desk coverage and ensure consistent coverage during business hours.
  • Move-In & Move Out:
    • Conduct pre-move-in meetings with new members to ensure a smooth transition.
    • Complete the New Member Orientation process and provide onboarding materials.
    • Conduct move-out interviews to gather feedback and insights.
  • Sales Support:
    • Conduct building tours and provide sales support to the Sales team.
    • Alert the Growth Team to member requests for Growth-related conversations.
    • Hand-off prospective member sales to the Sales team.
  • Events:
    • Develop and execute events that foster a sense of community and drive member engagement.
    • Provide feedback on event programming and evaluate their impact.
    • Set up and host weekly social events and execute Value-Driving events.
  • Building Operations and Management:
    • Conduct morning walkthroughs to address issues and escalate recurring problems.
    • Communicate with members on building issues and updates.
    • Manage the energy in the building and ensure music levels and activations are appropriate.
    • Liaise with cleaning companies to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
    • Track and manage keys and keycards.
  • Safety and Security:
    • Review and understand emergency procedures and protocols.
    • Respond to incidents and emergencies, and escalate as necessary.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the local language and understanding of local culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • A passion for building relationships and growing a community.
