Expert Tailings Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Join a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals who are working on a diverse range of projects across various commodities and clients.
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients worldwide.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and proposals, and undertake detailed assessments, including stability and seepage analyses.
  • Interpret results from laboratory testing and prepare comprehensive summary reports.
  • Using laboratory and field data, develop a basis for defensible soil strength parameters.
  • Undertake screening level and detailed design analyses to support the design of tailings storage facilities and other earth structures.
  • Develop innovative designs for tailings storage facilities and other earth structures.
  • Assist with project planning and preparation of technical reports.
  • Assist with the coordination of client-consultant requests.

About Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering.
  • Proven experience working on tailings-related projects locally or internationally, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment, including on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management ability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Drive to balance innovation, quality, and technical excellence with delivery to timelines.
