We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team at Novotel Canberra. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest arrivals and departures, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate guest satisfaction and drive continuous improvement of our team and processes.
  • Oversee all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring room allocations and check-in/out processes adhere to agreed procedures and standards.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting.
  • Oversee lobby services to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Liaise daily with our Reservations Team.
  • Manage customer relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Be our 'Loyalty Champion' and strive to recruit new members to our loyalty program.
  • Ensure sufficient labour coverage in key areas.

About You:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, preferably in luxury hotels. You will be a creative problem solver with excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. You will also have a deep understanding and practical application of Front Office standards and procedures.
