Job Opportunity: Radiocommunications Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technician to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure state-wide.

The role requires individuals with skills and experience in installing and maintaining WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies, radio base stations, terminating Hybriflex Cables and Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, and combiners.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scope of works on build drawings and site survey findings. They should also be able to configure and capture status for Hand Over Packs (HOP's) and commissioning and integration of RBS into the network.

In addition, they will conduct PIM, VSWR, sweep, and fibre testing, troubleshoot, replace defective equipment, and monitor site performance. Software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites are also essential responsibilities.

The successful applicant will also possess desirable skills including tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering science, electronics, or microprocessors, equivalent experience as a telecommunications technician if no qualification is held, and experience in installation, commissioning, and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment.
