Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at the Honeymoon mine in South Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in the resources or manufacturing industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operations of the warehouse and logistics function, leading warehouse operations including receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of goods.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory to ensure availability of reagents, critical spare parts, consumables, and equipment for mobile and fixed plant.

Coordination of deliveries with carriers and timely receipt and dispatch of materials are also key requirements.

Accurate inventory and supply records must be maintained using the Pronto ERP system.

Support to the Maintenance team by ensuring parts are available to meet operational targets is essential.

Development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency are also expected.

  • Experience in supervising a small team.
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A strong work ethic, solutions-focused approach, and drive to achieve results.

This role requires a solid understanding and knowledge of warehouse and logistics systems and procedures, as well as proficiency in using the MS Office suite and ERP systems (Pronto is preferred).

While not essential, a qualification related to supply chain or a trade qualification with relevant experience will be highly regarded.
