The Role - Your Journey Begins Here

As a bus operator at Ventura, you play a crucial role in ensuring our community remains connected and mobile. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities as you navigate various routes, including public transportation, school services, rail replacements, and special event charters.

We are currently seeking FULL TIME Bus Operators at our Knoxfield Depot. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for driving and a desire to serve their community while providing outstanding customer service during the safe transport of passengers.

Flexibility is key, as applicants must be prepared to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends, early mornings, and late-night shifts.

What We Seek in Our Drivers:

  • A valid Victorian MR or HR Licence
  • Experience in heavy vehicle operation
  • Customer-oriented individuals eager to assist when needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven safe driving record
  • A high commitment to safety, road regulations, and compliance
  • Ability to obtain necessary medical and background checks, including Driver's Accreditation (DC) and a Working With Children Card (WWCC)
