Key Responsibilities
  • Work with International POs to flush out API designs and advocate the API-first approach for internal and external APIs.
  • Work with International POs to understand property transaction workflows and how reporting can help provide data to customers in a meaningful manner.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and technology stakeholders to understand current state of APIs and how integration with mortgage origination platforms will work with APIs for PEXA's International platform.
  • Be the key liaison between customers, internal business, and technology teams, ensuring product solutions and requirements are understood, documented, and meet stakeholder acceptance criteria.
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience working on large-scale API products, developer experiences, and/or data products, preferably in a regulated industry like financial services.
  • Understanding of the API-first approach.
  • Experience in drafting and interpreting XML/JSON, and with APIs.
  • Experience in creating detailed SQL queries (preferred).
  • Understanding of the developer experience when integrating with API products.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite, as well as collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, with experience managing deployments via third parties, as well as Agile Software Development practices in distributed (preferably global) teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to break down requirements into user stories.
  • Experience working with a product development team, including working closely with end customers.
  • Experience working on multi-jurisdictional product development would be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven experience of working with Data products to maximize reporting capability.
