About the Role

Cement Australia is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Trainee to join our team. As a Production Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of processing plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide technical support to site staff
  • Support the Production team throughout various rotations, including laboratory, control room, dispatch, and East End Mine
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of work processes, procedures, and practices on site
What You Can Expect

As a Production Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the cement manufacturing process. You will work closely with experienced professionals and have access to training and development opportunities.

About You
  • Trade qualified or current apprentice
  • Completion of Year 12 or relevant pre-vocational qualification
  • Excellent numerical skills with an eye for detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to work rostered, 12-hour shifts
