Automation Tester

Avanade seeks a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals looking to grow and develop their skills in software quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of quality control tests and analysis to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. They will collaborate with the development team to establish, testing process, acceptance criteria, and to develop/ execute automated and manual testing.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of test execution activities
  • Participate in artefact review / inspection meetings, identifying issues and providing feedback
  • Identify QA Process Issues and escalate appropriately
  • Coach others on correct QA processes at a basic level
  • Author basic Test Matrices from Business/Technical Requirements with some supervision
  • Take ownership of basic QA Planning Tasks with some supervision
  • Create, edit, and update automated test scripts with some supervision (if applicable)

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:

  • Selenium Test automation, continuous integration and automated deployment
  • Experience in full stack.NET development and.Net core
  • Net/C# Developing & Auto Test Scripting
  • Selenium Test automation, continuous integration and automated deployment
  • Software development & design experience
  • Experience with C# and asp.net MVC, webAPI and unit testing
  • Operational skills around Angular5+, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Fair skills around database development with sql server 2012+ - T-Sql, store proc
  • Knowledge of OOP principles and N-tier and N-layered architecture.
  • Passion for agile software delivery processes
  • Understanding of QA activities in relation to systems development lifecycle
