Our organization is a leading magnetite producer in Australia, with a strong presence in the North-West region of Tasmania.
Job Overview- Undertake financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision making and major capital expenditure projects.
- Identify trends, risks and make recommendations to operations and management teams to drive business improvements.
As a key member of our Business Planning team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that support our journey towards decarbonisation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the development and distribution of forecasting requirements to site-based teams.
- Partner with site teams and management to validate proposed projects and investments to maximise business value.
- Commercial analysis and identification of cost reduction opportunities/strategies.
This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with key decision-makers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting.
- Financial acumen along with excellent analytical skills.
- 3 years professional experience in accounting/finance-related role.
- CPA/CA or associated professional association (or working towards).
Key Skills: Financial planning, risk management, commercial analysis, business development.
