Republica is an iconic venue that turns 20 years old this year. We require a passionate and experienced leader to guide our team. Under the umbrella of Melbourne Hospitality People, the Venue Manager at Republica will need to ensure the quality of an established brand is upheld and improved on, bringing energy and professionalism to the role.
As a Venue Manager you will lead your team with a hands on approach through the day to day operations, ensuring staff are well trained and directed in each task. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring customer service standards are met and continuously improved.
Coordinating Front of House operations, systems and procedures.
Rostering ensuring wage costs are met where possible
Training and mentoring staff
Assisting with staff recruitment and performance reviews
Liaising with Security, musicians and contractors
Ensuring compliance is adhered to inline with workplace regulations
Assist with marketing and events within the venue and across the group.
Stock control and Beverage list design
Candidates must have a genuine love of the hospitality industry and endeavour to provide exceptional service. Ideally candidates have experience in high volume venues and have excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
We require the Venue Manager to be available across nights, weekends and public holidays when required. Candidates who thrive in busy, fast paced environments and who know how to lead a large team are ideally suited to this role.
Salary package negotiable for the right candidate.
