Special Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to cater to the diverse needs of students with mild intellectual disabilities. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters growth and development.

You will design and deliver tailored educational programs, develop Personalised Learning Support Plans, and Behaviour Management Plans to ensure all students achieve their full potential. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support agencies to provide a culture of high expectations for all students.

The successful applicant will have approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with mild intellectual disabilities. They will possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work professionally with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Design and Delivery: Create and implement quality educational programs that cater to individual student needs.
  • Personalised Learning Plans: Develop Personalised Learning Support Plans and Behaviour Management Plans to ensure students reach their full potential.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, parents, and support agencies to promote a culture of high expectations for all students.
