About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time or part-time capacity. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of employee pays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll and reconciliations for multiple runs per month
  • Own a group of complex pay runs that impact multiple businesses
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and internal stakeholders
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes
  • Interpret awards and enterprise agreements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience processing multiple end-to-end pay runs
  • Experience using Chris 21 is desirable but not essential
  • Proven capacity for continuous improvement and implementing change
  • Demonstrated success in balancing discipline and methodical routine with contemporary payroll practices
  • Full Australian driver's license and access to personal transportation is advantageous
