About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time or part-time capacity. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of employee pays.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll and reconciliations for multiple runs per month
- Own a group of complex pay runs that impact multiple businesses
- Collaborate with HR business partners and internal stakeholders
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes
- Interpret awards and enterprise agreements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience processing multiple end-to-end pay runs
- Experience using Chris 21 is desirable but not essential
- Proven capacity for continuous improvement and implementing change
- Demonstrated success in balancing discipline and methodical routine with contemporary payroll practices
- Full Australian driver's license and access to personal transportation is advantageous
