Obstetrics and Gynaecology Team Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to take on a leadership role in our dynamic team.

About the Role

As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care across general obstetrics and gynaecology. This includes leading departmental planning, quality, and safety initiatives, as well as overseeing clinical governance, workforce development, and risk management.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and excellence in women's healthcare
  • Mentor and supervise registrars, junior doctors, and medical students to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Drive teaching, training, and research in collaboration with regional academic partners

You will lead a committed team in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care, while fostering a positive culture of education, innovation, and continuous improvement.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who has proven leadership skills in a clinical or academic O&G setting. Key requirements include:

  • Fellowship of RANZCOG
  • Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Strong commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and service excellence
  • Passion for mentoring and supporting the next generation of clinicians
