The Department for Health and Wellbeing is seeking an exceptional individual to lead strategic health service reform across SA Health as the Executive Director, Health Services Programs. This pivotal role reports directly to the Deputy Chief Executive and is responsible for driving the planning, implementation, and evaluation of statewide health initiatives that align with the Government's Reform Agenda.

As Executive Director, you will drive the effective implementation and management of health services and public health initiatives across SA Health, enabling transformative change and delivering excellence in public health.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. ">
  2. Leading the development and delivery of innovative models of care across planned and unplanned services, outpatient redesign, and end-of-life care, including voluntary assisted dying.">
  3. Influencing system-wide performance through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and policy development.">
  4. Collaborating with diverse partners across government, community, and clinical sectors to deliver sustainable health outcomes.">
  5. Championing ethical leadership, cultural change, and continuous improvement in a dynamic and complex environment.">
