Saturday Casual Front Desk Coverage Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our team by providing casual Saturday coverage of our front desk.

The role involves working at our office which is open on Saturdays from 8:30am-4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering telephone calls and forwarding them to the correct person in a professional manner at all times.
  • Taking messages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Greeting walk-in clients and directing their inquiries correctly.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service both face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Handling all inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Organising the reception area and printing facilities.
  • Preparing gift and settlement boxes for dispatch by agents.
  • Managing banking and mail tasks.
  • Cleaning duties, specifically maintaining the kitchen area, ensuring it remains neat and tidy at all times (including loading/unloading the dishwasher and taking out the garbage as required).
  • Reporting any necessary issues to the Office Manager/HR.
Requirements:

To be successful, you must possess the following qualities:

  • A professional and upbeat telephone manner and face-to-face presence.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in retail/hospitality customer service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • A willingness to assist others.
  • Availability to work as many Saturdays as possible throughout the year.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
  • Business attire must be worn for this position.
