Service Transport Manager Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position with job security working for a market-leading company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the branch service levels, ensuring Service Technicians achieve their daily targets, and maintaining a vehicle fleet that is safe, presentable, fit for purpose, and compliant with local legislation requirements.

  • Manage and maintain the branch service levels (SOS) for Washroom, Hygiene, and First Aid services
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Service Technicians achieve their daily targets and company non-negotiables
  • Maintain a vehicle fleet that is safe, presentable, fit for purpose, and compliant with local legislation requirements
  • Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure budgets and service levels are maintained
  • Plan and execute all inventory requirements in line with budget, sales pipeline, and company policies
Requirements
  • Current people manager or 3+ years' managerial or supervisory experience for 20+ people is mandatory
  • Fleet management and scheduling experience is advantageous
