Exercise Physiologist Job

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Mackay. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exercise physiology, physiotherapy and associated services in our four room and gym-based clinic.

  • Deliver high-quality exercise physiology and physiotherapy services to patients with chronic diseases, musculoskeletal conditions and oncology needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs to support patient self-efficacy and promote positive long-term outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Contribute to the development of internal professional development programs and participate in external professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • Current first aid qualifications.
  • Experience working with DVA, Medicare, third party and NDIS patients (desirable).
