Procurement Governance and Assurance Expert
">This role is a central coordinator for procurement governance and assurance, overseeing all spend exceeding $150K. The Procurement Governance and Assurance Expert will work closely with procurement and contract management teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and strategic sourcing outcomes.
">The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of procurement frameworks, tools, and training, delivering assurance checks and audits to maintain governance and identify risks. They will also act as a key escalation point for procurement-related governance and risk issues, providing expert advice on legislative and policy compliance.
">To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of government procurement policies and compliance frameworks, and exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, law, or MCIPS accreditation are highly regarded.
">Key Responsibilities:
">• Lead the development and implementation of procurement frameworks, tools, and training
• Deliver assurance checks and audits to maintain governance and identify risks
• Act as a key escalation point for procurement-related governance and risk issues
• Provide expert advice on legislative and policy compliance
• Drive transformation and innovation initiatives to improve procurement systems and processes
