Job Title: Blood Sample Collector Specialist

About the Position:

This role involves working in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and medical facilities, as a skilled collector of blood and non-blood samples.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and patients to understand their needs and requirements
  • Gather blood and non-blood samples with care and attention across different wards and areas
  • Maintain accurate records for every patient and sample collected

Key Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge in phlebotomy, preferably with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a nursing background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high empathy and patient-centred approach
  • Organised with high attention to detail
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residence, New Zealand citizen, or valid visa with work rights
  • Vaccination evidence for vaccine-preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B
