Job Role:
A Rehabilitation Consultant is required to deliver assessments and counseling services to individuals navigating complex rehabilitation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to guide individuals toward their new career goals
- Build relationships with health professionals, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
- Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs to assist injured employees in returning to the workforce
- Collaborate with workplaces to understand challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on the health benefits of good work
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology
- Registration with AHPRA, AASW, or ASORC
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
