Site Supervisor Role Overview

The Site Supervisor is a key position within Qube Bulk's operations team, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of haulage operations under our haulage and train load out contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the performance of operations teams to ensure a safe and efficient operation in line with Qube and client policies and procedures.
  • Allocate and manage tasks to ensure completion within allocated shifts and compliance with fatigue management and other relevant OH&S requirements.
  • Monitor performance against targets to ensure efficient meeting of Qube and client requirements.
  • Communicate and liaise with client representatives to achieve performance objectives.
  • Induct and train existing and new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to undertake tasks.
  • Undertake regular safety field leadership activities and on-the-job observations to identify opportunities and provide coaching and advice.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement operational changes to improve efficiency and safety.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with surface mobile or earthmoving equipment.
  • Experience in the heavy transport industry in a similar role.
  • Current valid motor vehicle driver's license.
  • Computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
