Job Description:

As a BIM Coordinator/Senior Documentor, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of projects, working effectively with other architects throughout each phase of design, contract documentation, construction and some contract administration duties.

">

A BIM Coordinator may also be required to liaise with important clients and stakeholders and alert the principal - Project Director in the first instance to any issues and matters that need to be addressed. They will also be required to contribute to overall procedural best practice and quality assurance and help to foster effective and collaborative team relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Work on architectural projects within the Melbourne Design office including client liaison, design, contract documentation and some contract administration.">
    ">
  • Assist the Principal or Project Manager in the day-to-day operations of the office and on specific projects.">
    ">
  • Take responsibility for time management of assigned jobs. Keep an accurate daily record of the time spent on each assigned job.">
    ">
  • Attend office meetings and provide reports to the principal on a regular basis regarding the progress of individual tasks and projects under their responsibility.">

  • Assist in the maintenance of office systems, processes and procedures.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have sound experience in the areas of contract documentation.">
    ">
  • Have strong technical knowledge of architectural project delivery and BIM technical coordination.">
    ">
  • Demonstrable skills in the areas of design, presentation and technical skills.">
    ">
  • Strong and Demonstrated proficiency with Revit, Auto CAD and other drafting and presentation software.">
    ">
  • Effective organisation, planning and prioritisation skills to manage the day-to-day requirements of tasks related to project delivery.">
