Patient Care Specialist

This role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary treatment team, supervised by a registered nurse. The Behavioral Health Associate will monitor and report patient behaviors, provide continuous patient care, document observations, ensure safety, respond to crises, and support non-clinical duties such as environmental and administrative tasks.

- Ability to read, write English, and perform basic math
- Preferred: Direct patient experience in behavioral health or medical settings
- Attain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within one year and maintain it
- Obtain BLS-C certification during initial period and maintain it
- Strong teamwork, communication, adaptability, and emergency response skills
- Ability to understand and respect patient dignity and self-respect
- Complete venipuncture training
- Heavy exertion required, lifting 50-100 pounds occasionally
