Your RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Juniper Cygnet, a well-established facility providing 42 beds with ensuites. As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement resident care plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences.
- Address requests and concerns from families and carers in a collaborative and empathetic manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aged care documentation requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Enhance the performance of care and service staff through guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Identify training needs for clinical and care staff in consultation with the Residential Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with aged care standards and regulations.
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting, with a focus on night duty and dementia care.
- Understanding of AN-ACC documentation and aged care standards.
- Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes care, as well as medication management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
