Job Role: Tradesperson

As a key member of our Asset Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance, alteration, or repair of plant and equipment in accordance with relevant qualifications, skills, and competency level. Effective communication skills are essential to liaise with various staff members, including trade work colleagues, clinicians, healthcare clients, and Engineering Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance, alteration, or repair work of plant and equipment
  • Supporting Asset Management's objectives and goals across facilities
  • Liaising with all levels of staff regarding repairs and scheduling of works, and providing technical advice
  • Working consistent hours of operation and assisting with provision of after-hours and emergency response and repairs
Requirements:
  • Relevant NSW Trade Certificate/Licence and/or current Qualified Supervisors Certificate
  • High level of computer skills, with ability and willingness to use Asset Management systems, Microsoft office, and other computing systems
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards relating to installations in hospitals, with ability to acquire new skills and keep up to date with trade developments
  • Highly developed communication skills, with ability to drive/travel as required, including long distances and overnight stays
