Trade Support Specialist

This role involves assisting in various trade activities, including grinding, cutting steel and timber, sanding, welding, measuring, marking, and preparing materials. The ideal candidate will have workshop or labouring experience, be confident with hand and power tools, and have reliable transportation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Grinding, cutting steel and timber, and sanding
  • Welding (dependent on experience)
  • Measuring, marking, and preparing materials
  • Using workshop machinery (saws, drills, grinders, sanders)
  • Assembling components and fittings
  • Packing, loading/unloading, and general workshop duties
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Workshop, labouring, or trade experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Welding skills (advantageous but not essential)
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong safety focus
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle
