Job Description

The Tradesperson will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, alteration, or repair work of plant and equipment in accordance with relevant qualifications, skills, and competency level.

This role is part of the Asset Management Team and is required to support Asset Management's objectives and goals across facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, alteration, or repair work of plant and equipment in accordance with relevant qualifications, skills, and competency level
  • Supporting Asset Management's objectives and goals across facilities
  • Liaising with all levels of staff including trade work colleagues, clinicians, healthcare clients, and Engineering Supervisors
  • Providing technical advice
  • Working unsupervised and as a member of a team
  • Participating in the on-call roster as required
  • Driving/traveling as the role requires
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Rewlevant NSW Trade Certificate/Licence and/or current Qualified Supervisors Certificate
  • Demonstrated high level of computer skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standards relating to installations in hospitals
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Able to work consistent hours of operation
  • Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence
