Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to biology and preclinical in vivo imaging projects at Evolve Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with national and global partners to drive research and innovation.

About the Role

Under guidance, you will design, plan, and set up experiments, including troubleshooting scientific experiments, data acquisition, and analysis. Your duties will include:

  • Developing animal models for in vivo and ex vivo measurement of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Undertaking laboratory work and associated training required for conducting planned experiments
  • Ensuring operational safety, quality control, and compliance with applicable standards, legislation, and regulations
  • Writing safety, regulatory, and compliance documents (SWMES, work instructions, animal ethics, etc.) and maintaining accurate records
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory animal handling, anaesthesia, monitoring, injection, and surgical techniques related to in vivo imaging
  • Work with preclinical in vivo imaging modalities, in vivo/ex vivo biodistribution studies, and therapeutic studies of pharmaceuticals or radiopharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrate ability to work productively within a team and as an independent researcher
  • Apply strong communication and organisational skills to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Degree (MSc or higher preferred) in biological science, medical science, or radiation science
  • Demonstrated experience in laboratory animal handling, anaesthesia, monitoring, injection, and surgical techniques
  • Proven track record of working with preclinical in vivo imaging modalities and therapeutic studies
