Role Overview:
Are you an individual with over six months of experience in a caregiving role, particularly in personal care, but lack formal certification in Aged Care or Individual Support? You might be the ideal candidate we seek.
Responsibilities:
- Providing domestic assistance to ensure a clean and safe living environment for elderly clients.
- Assisting clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Offering social support and transportation for lifestyle activities.
- Delivering personal care, including helping clients with daily routines, medication management, and mobility support.
- Providing emotional support and respite care.
- Facilitating transportation to appointments.
- Managing complex care needs for clients with conditions such as dementia.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of six months experience in a similar caregiving role, particularly in personal care.
- A genuine commitment to assisting the elderly in maintaining their independence at home.
- A valid P1 class or higher Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an integral part of the role.
- The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, understanding that some days may be more difficult than others.
- Availability to work at least three days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
- Comfort in working independently and resolving everyday challenges, while knowing when to seek managerial support.
